League thinking about starting the season earlier

This is apparently going to be done in an attempt to limit back to backs and 4 in 5 night situations. I think this is a win win all the way around. Basketball starts a little early, and players dont get ran into the ground as much.

i agree. There is no reason to have back to backs. What fan wants to pay top $ to see their favorite player, only to realize that he and some of his teammates are resting?

82 games is too much, but owners don't want to give up a dime. I'm ok with starting the NBA in September if it means there are more competitive games.
