And Hawks have finally fell down back to earth after their hot November start.

They didn't just fall back to earth, they burned up in the atmosphere. If it weren't for those early wins I'd be worried about them catching the Nets
I'm bitter.

Three ball is just not there ,  do we not have ANY inside plays.
No because without Horford in we have no bigs with a back to the basket game

If most of our bigs can hit a three, why not post Smart and Jaylen more?
We do post Smart often when his confidence isn't in the ****s because he can't shoot right now. As for Brown I just think Brad is sending a message to him that if you don't play fundamental basketball you aren't playing.
Really think that Brown should be in the D-League for now.
I think Ainge asked Stevens to play brown so Stevens plays him until he messes up.

When did Brown "Mess up" tonight?

For one, he allowed Hollis Thompson an open three st the end of the first because he sagged way off him for seemingly no reason.  Overall, his defensive awareness has been subpar this season.  Of course, this should be expected for a 20 year old rookie.

Where is that quick hook when other players mess up?

Mike
C'mon man. Brown's a rookie, and young rookie at that. He's lucky he's getting any playing time considering we are a playoff team. We want to instill in him to play smart basketball with as minimal turnovers as possible. If he's playing lock down defense even if he's not scoring he will stay on the floor. Understand defensive rotations, proper body placement, how to fight around screens, and how to use his athleticism and length and then he will get minutes.

Maybe if the team is still average a couple months from now we can trade Horford and AB for Porzingis.

Any one else watching the 76ers stream? Commentators are making Tommy sound cool for Pete's sake.  They're repeatedly referring to Sergio R. as "El Chaco" and Okafor as "Jah"... and like not in a "this is funny, right guise?" kind of way.

Does anyone really love this team like they loved last year's team?

I remember always being excited to watch last year's team, because they were the scrappy, defensive underdogs that always seemed to pull out a win. And even though they would sometimes go through these types of lulls, they would usually snap out of it and finish games playing the right way.

The same just isn't true about this year's squad. They don't have that fire that last year's squad did. They're entitled and think they can win games going half-speed, which just isn't true.

Disappointing half but Philly hit a season high in threes for a half. They should cool off, but then again, I thought Detroit would too and they never did.
They're not going to cool off if we keep giving them open looks .

Honestly we should be running everything through Horford because the man just makes plays whenever he touches the ball

And it's not all on Brad either. Horford has to demand the ball and establish himself. He's only got 4 fgs so far tonight, and he's 3-4. He can't switch that dramatically from games like last night.

Our best possessions the past 2 games have started with Al either dribbling or posting up
I'm bitter.

Yup......the defensive pressure on the threes is just not there.  Most of the time when we do close out hard they miss.

You want a rookie to learn?  Let him see the coach holding veterans accountable.  Letting some players slide and cracking down on others will only breed entitlement and resentment.  Hey, remember that great game Young had?  Did he get rewarded for that?

So AB doesn't show the open corner three, but he takes an off the dribble wing three? Makes sense.
