Well, that was a half to forget. Law of averages says the 76ers wont continue to shoot like 60% from 3. Or does it?

Nice Defense by Jaylen on that last play.

Disappointing half but Philly hit a season high in threes for a half. They should cool off, but then again, I thought Detroit would too and they never did.

I said the same thing when we were playing the Pistons the other night.

I'm sorry, but Bradley and Smart are so overrated on defense. Are they good defenders? Yes, but to me Horford has been our biggest difference maker on the defensive end.

I'm not sure what you're watching, but Smart and Horford are the only ones who have consistently defended all season long. Bradley and Crowder both have been subpar this year.
Crowder looked better last night.

Smart should be 2nd or third team all defense this season.

If I was visiting from another planet and never seen the Celtics ,

I d say they suck at what ever gen heck they are trying to do.

I still think The Celtics will win this.

No doubt.  But they have the talent to be up 20 against a team like Philly.

Even away playing the 2nd night of a back to back.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

I'll give you Smart because I have seen Smart step up multiple times, but I still think overall he's been highly overrated by the CB community. By the way he actually has  negative DBPM. If bad defenders can end up with solid DBPM scores why can't Smart if he's an elite defender?

Three ball is just not there ,  do we not have ANY inside plays.
No because without Horford in we have no bigs with a back to the basket game

If most of our bigs can hit a three, why not post Smart and Jaylen more?
We do post Smart often when his confidence isn't in the ****s because he can't shoot right now. As for Brown I just think Brad is sending a message to him that if you don't play fundamental basketball you aren't playing.
Really think that Brown should be in the D-League for now.
I think Ainge asked Stevens to play brown so Stevens plays him until he messes up.

When did Brown "Mess up" tonight?

For one, he allowed Hollis Thompson an open three st the end of the first because he sagged way off him for seemingly no reason.  Overall, his defensive awareness has been subpar this season.  Of course, this should be expected for a 20 year old rookie.

I think we'll end up winning this game in ugly fashion, just like last night.  But let's be honest - the way we've played so far, we don't deserve to win.  It's sad how many times I've felt like we haven't deserved to win games this season.

Where is that quick hook when other players mess up?
