Almost fully expect to see horford out today

He's "Doubtful," so it seems pretty unlikely that he plays.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

OUT. There are also some reports that he's "out indefinitely," but that's fairly ambiguous and I'm yet to see it from the main beat writers.

man, if he's ready for the Golden State game, and we win it with Horford making a big contribution, i'll forget all about him missing 8 games.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

The brain is peculiar. The way he/the team have dealt with the media in the last few days has been notably unusual, though.

With concussions, the default is "out indefinitely."

ok, good to know that i'm not the only one noticing that. he won't say ANYTHING about his symptoms and his condition. "not at the liberty to discuss that yet". What does that mean? i still feel like they're hiding something from us. maybe aside from the concussion, he had a very minor operation or something? idk, it's really sneaky and vague stuff that he's doing.

True, and there seems to be genuine hope that he'll play Friday.

I think we'll find out more once he's back. Maybe he's experienced some scary side effects, like a seizure or something?

Yeah, or maybe he's dead. I bet that's what they are hiding. Horford is dead.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Gary Washburn posted a video of Al working out before the game and said that he's definitely making progress.  He has to pass the league protocol and pass all the tests before he will be cleared by the league.  It's not Al and not the Celtics.  He has to pass league protocol.  Concussions are being taken very seriously these days and they have to pass a series of tests by the league to get back on the court.
