Personally, I will be very disappointed if we end up with Tatum. Typical low-ceiling guy, in my opinion.

Could happen but I think it probably shakes out like this for this excellent front office...

1. Fultz
2. Ball
3. Jackson
4. Isaac

I would be surprised if Tatum snuck in there.

I like Ball better than Fultz, but tougher to fit into our current team, particularly Isaiah.

Jackson not only best fit for our team. He is the best player in the draft. I think that is Danny's target. If we can't get him, more likely to trade the pick.

Tatum more likely selected ahead of Isaac. Has an NBA body.

Tatum more likely selected ahead of Isaac. Has an NBA body.

Which is precisely why he's looking good in college, imo. He has a rather mature body and a polished game, but his overall athleticism is nothing to write home about. We see prospects like that every year, and most of the time they are good, but unspectacular NBA players.

I think his absolute best case scenario is a Danny Granger-type, which is nice, but nothing to get excited about, either. Top 5 is definitely too high for my taste.

In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

TP for you.  Glad we still have our pick.  Would have been hard to watch Fultz, Jackson, Ball, etc. without it.

My pleasure...and back atcha. Glad we have a pick to look forward to and dream about. So much talent in this draft, including a bunch of internationals, that we're likely to get stash talent in the 2nd.

DVRs hummin' and channels flippin' today!

Monk is going off this half, 24 points in the second half so far.  Total 27 points in 27 minutes.

Still 6 minutes to go.
2019 historical draft.  Pick 12

Tim Duncan, Oscar Robertson, Elgin Baylor, Scottie Pippen, Willis Reed, Mitch Richmond, Sam Jones, Dan Majerle, Bob Cousy, Rasheed Wallace, Shawn Kemp, Marcus Camby

He is an explosive scorer.… And he can shoot the three.

Two problems: 1. He is only 6'2" and foa a SG in the pros, that's problematic and 2. He doesn't do much else.

Someone will draft him with the hope of him playing the point.  Who's the best scorer in the draft in your opinion between Fultz, Monk, and Tatum?

Great question, TP.

I think that Monk is easily the best pure scorer.

I like Josh Jackson as the best player.

Ball is having a great game.  His court vision, awareness, and instincts are amazing.  He's so fun to watch.

I wish he would be a little more selfish. He is entertaining though.

Trier playing out of his mind.

He's going to jump into the first round unfortunately.

Was hoping we had a shot for him in second.

EDIT:And how big and strong is Alkins for a point guard? He's like a mini-'Reke.

I wasn't familiar with Trier.  He had a great game.  Draftexpress has him at 51, so he could be available in the second round.

He missed the first 20 or so games of the season on a PED related suspension. In many early drafts in November and into December, he was in the late first, early second.

They were expecting big things from him this year, but the suspension stunted his draft projection in a big way. It has cost him a lot of $$$$.

A 6'5" SG who can take it to the rack and hit 3s coming out of a good program. He'll be a bargain for someone.
