UPDATE:  Thursday, 11/17

Lonzo Ball's UCLA Bruins vs San Diego at 11 p.m on PAC-12 Network

Melo Trimble at 7 p.m. St Mary's (MD) vs MD on ESPN 3

Lonzo looks interesting. I read a Jason Kidd comparison, which prob. means he'll be nothing like him.

I think I'd rather draft a random guy off of St. Mary's before Melo Trimble. Too small/light. I don't like his shot. Decent handle.

I think Dennis Smith/Harry Giles/Ivan Rabb/Thomas Bryant would be good fits for us.

Thomas Bryant is not a good NBA player. He's not long enough, athletic enough, and his all around game is severely limited because of this. Don't see the allure with him.
DraftExpress has his wingspan at 7'5.5" and he seems reasonably athletic to me.  What do you mean by his all around game is severely limited?
Wow maybe I underestimated his length. For me it's tight hips. Doesn't seem to have the quickest of feet, awkard running motion, and isn't especially explosive. He could potentially become a nice bench player, but not seeing starter quality talent there.
Don't know why Bryant is even being mentioned.  Our only 1st should be top 5 and certainly be top 10.  DraftExpress currently has him going 22.  I don't see Bryant going higher than mid-first.  If he does, it will be a lot weaker draft than expected.

If we do end up using the pick, I'd be good with taking Markkanen and letting Olynyk walk.

Love this thread nice to scout, thanks.

Thanks, glad you enjoy it. I know that some of the broadcasts aren't available to all people, but figured that I'd list them.

Didn't list the Duke game at 1 today vs URI, but Grayson Allen is hobbled and the three other projected high draft picks that they have are all injured and haven't played yet.

I will update as often as I can, but it's a long season, and I'm sure that I will miss some days, so if anybody wants to update  on any day, that'll be great.

Wow, Colorado just kicked Texas' butt.

Jarrett Allen looked like a lost little boy. Not very stron, not agressive at all with going after rebounds or putting it up after he gets one (he kicks it out) and he's taller than eveeryone on the floor. A complete non-factor.

Adebayo (Ky),  Jeanne, Bryany (IND) and Yurtseven (NC ST) look way further along than this guy.

Larrier not playing for UCONN today.

Roxbury's Jalen Adams is lighting it up though.

And Northwestern (!!!) beat Texas even worse yesterday.  Allen was held to 5 points on 6 shots and 5 boards, and was completely outplayed by Northwestern's 6-8 sophomore who had a double-double.

Wow!

He could go from #13 on DExpress to off the board. He's not even in nbadraft.net's top 60.

Thomas Bryant just capped a Hoosier comeback with a rugged offensive rebound and attempted put-back where he got fouled.  He calmly made two free throws to tie The Fort Wayne Mastodons ( how's that for a nickname)!

OT!

EDIT: Mastodons shock 3rd ranked Hoosiers!

 I love college basketball!
