Anybody watching Iowa State vs WVA?

Boy can Monte Morris and Deonte Burton play.

This team will make some noise in the Big Dance.

As an Iowa State Alum, this makes me very happy.
so did this:

Thanks guys....and TPs to footey, KGL and Ilike for the kind words.

It has been fun and instructive for me personally about the depth of this draft class and college hoops in general, so I've really enjoyed doing it. Shout-out to tazzmaniac for filling in the few days that I couldn't do it.

Hard to believe that Nov 15th was when we started this. 4 months goes by fast, but it truly has been a labor of love, and I'd be lying if I said that it doesn't make me feel like I have given back to Csblog for all the hours of enjoyment that Csblog and posters like you guys have given me. Psyched that the thread has gotten over 25,000 views and counting.

I'll keep doing it till Championship Monday and do it again next year.

Burton is a force of nature. Cyclone is an apt name for him. great clip.

Monte Morris is going to make a good pro. Rock steady with an assist to turnover ratio off almost 6 to 1.....staggering

I'd add DJ Wilson to the Michigan-OK State list.  Of the Michigan stretch bigs, I think he's the one more likely to leave school this year as opposed to Wagner.

Also, he's not listed on most mock draft lists, but Derrick Walton Jr. of Michigan is totally an Ainge/Stevens PG.  Good from the 3 and FT line, plus rebounder for the position, and a total gamer.  He's the type of player they might select with one of their 2nds in the 50s and give a Two-way contract to.  If Michigan has a deep run in the tourney, it will be due to him, and his name will start popping up more.  He dealt with recurring ankle injuries his sophomore and junior years, which held him back, but this year he's been healthy all season and is playing terrifically.  Caleb Swanigan was player of the year, but Walton is tops in the conference in many of the advanced stats -- offensive rating, offensive box plus-minus, win shares.

Good digging, can't say I can speak much to good second rounders this year, been too caught up in the top of the draft and those 4-6 guys.  I feel like Alonzo Trier could be a solid pro, but not fully sold, and not sure he drops to round 2 either.
