Horford officially OUT.

So, they sent him back to Boston, because he wasn't ready yet and so he could get "rest". I hope he hasn't developed symptoms again...why else would he not be ready? am i overreacting?
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

Most likely wasn't medically cleared by the doctors, plus if they believe there could be lingering symptoms, its best to just give more rest on top of it. Any head or brain related injuries really have to be taken into consideration. I feel like Hoford just said straight up, "I still don't feel 100%." And Stevens took his word for it, and gave him the day off. He seems pretty much ready to go, but you never know. Patience is a virtue. No point in the possibility of being injured again playing a 1-9 team lol.

But he practiced the other day, didn't he? If he did, that means he was cleared by the docs.

I really hope this is a game the Celtics can put away relatively comfortably. Even with Davis, the Pelicans are 1-9. It's okay to let Anthony Davis sort of beat you, but there better not be a few random dudes on the team lighting up the scoreboard (because as we've seen before, our defense just loves making other fringe "NBA players" look like all-stars).

Also their defense isn't that great besides Davis as well.

the fact he hasn't been playing for almost 2 weeks is almost concerning, I wonder what or how it really went down during practice, was it a really bad elbow?

I really think some of these guys are just almost too cautious now.  7 games in a row because of a concussion seems a bit ridiculous to me.  If these guys have a reason to take time off they will take it.

nice to see IT gutting it out with a bum finger though. You don't even see that very often anymore.

I predict Marcus has a big game this one.  Too many injuries and IT will probably take it easy.

Now that I'm seeing him play, Buddy would have been nice in Green.

I feel really bad for the Brow.  Crap management, crappy teammates, no support from the fanbase.  New Orleans fans take for granted that they have the best young player in the league.

Please give it to Marcus in the post!
