I was just on the Kings reddit. one of them suggested swapping WCS for Jaylen. They didn't say Jaylen *Brown* though so maybe they were talking about Jaylen Rose.
My biases, in order of fervor:
Pro:
Smart, Brown, Hayward, Tatum, Kemba, Grant Williams, Sleepy Williams, Edwards!

Anti:
Kanter, Semi, Theis, Poierier

Wishful thinking on their part.

Wishful thinking on their part.

When does wishful enter into full on insanity?

When their fans get angry at the team and the GM for not making that trade.

WCS is a terrible basketball player and can't get minutes on a bad team.  I'll pass.

Maybe a WCS, Casspi for Jerebko, Young and next years Celtics 1st round pick.  (no Nets picks)

Throw in as many 2nd rounders as needed.
That would be a good deal for us. My only issue is that taking on non expiring contracts might leave us short of a max signing this summer (I'd probably do it anyway)
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Lot of defensive potential with him.

Here's a nice write up:

My thought on that is Casspi is an expiring contract and I think WCS should be easy to move for just cap space in the offseason if need be.

Can't be worse than Zeller.

I'm not high on WCS and think that Noel is still a much better get for us overall, even with his contract situation, but this would be a good get. Casspi would help our three point shooting in the second unit and give us another swing/wing to go to.

Seems like now would be a perfect time to go after a guy like WCS.

Highly regarded recent 1st Rd pick stuck on a bad team with a logjam of players at his position, one of whom is regarded as the best player in the league at his position (DMC). WCS is also a player who's stock is currently down because he's, so far, failed to live up to expectations, despite the fact his team has put him in a terrible position to succeed.

So, yes, if the price is right, and we can't acquire a 'star' center, I would gladly trade for WCS. It's just a hunch, but I bet he would thrive playing on the Celtics.

Still think a Noel trade is a better get for us. Noel is a significantly better player overall defensively and especially on the rebounding end.

When is Noel out until though? The sooner we get another big, the better.

He did well as a rookie. Surprised some Kings fans are giving up on him so soon.

A future top 15 possible top 10 center.

What about Jerebko and Bradley (and future Memphis pick) for Gay and WCS?

With Gay already planning to opt out, it seems like he might be on the move too? Kings need shooting and more production at shooting guard. Jerebko gives them a forward who can play both positions and spot up. Slide Afflalo over to small forward and put Bradley at the off guard position. I don't think they would primarily want assets, but instead they would want impact players to try to be a playoff team with Cousins this year.

Celtics get a swing scorer who can play both forward positions and an athletic big who can defend. Both guys would help us on the boards. This makes us significantly bigger, stronger, and more athletic. Could Horford teach WCS the little things?

I mean, I don't want to give up Bradley, but with Smart and Rozier, we have the depth behind Bradley.

Bradley is MUCH better than Smart or Rozier, I can't believe you would even suggest this trade. C'mon.
