Since Ibaka is a minus rebounder, this would hurt our already weak rebounding. Offensively and defensively it would be a plus, but rebounding is what we need.

Heres my Ibaka idea. We should just go all in for Ibaka and Butler  :) :) :)

Chicago gets the Nets 2017 pick and the Memphis 2019 pick.

Orlando gets Chicago 2017 pick and Clippers 2019 pick.

Giving up 3 picks plus Rozier and Crowder is high but...

Left with IT, Bradley, Smart, Horford, KO, JB plus 2 big time players is worth it.  I can dream right?
I don't see why Chicago would give up its own pick and I'm not sure Orlando would do the trade, though they would at least think about it.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

This is a weird thread. Ibaka holds all the cards. He is an unrestricted  free agent next summer. It really doesn't matter what the Magic want. If he wants to stay there, there is nothing to talk about. If he wants out, there isn't much they can do. A trade would only compensate them for their cooperation, not for the player.

They don't have much incentive to start shopping him unless that is what he has told them he wants.

If he indicates he wants to come here, they'd be lucky to get something like Rozier and a protected 1st.
