Series tied 3-3... that's 6.   Game tied 6-6... that's 6-6-6 boys.  It's a double curse World Series and now it's extra innings and raining.   Spirits are intervening.

Dang Cubs. Nice work, Shaw.

Well, that should just about take care of it. Both teams made plenty of mistakes in this game, but Cleveland has made more.

Not a fan of baseball at all, but this game has been really entertaining.

Not sure Cleveland fans deserve this game 7.  According to an article I read before the World Series started, they were 28th in MLB attendance this year.  Now all of a sudden they're all hardcore Indian fans?  Gimme a break.

Back during the 2013 World Series they listed an incredible stat where the WS home team had won something like 19 out of 21 of the previous game 6's and game 7's.

Epic collapse if Cleveland drops these last two games.

The crazy thing is the Cubs have at least 3-5 more good years, if they retain most of their pitching staff, and wait till their young studs hit their prime.

Bryant is a monster, and Rizzo is no joke.

I'm a Mets fan, so I've always seen how dangerous the Cubs can be.

Golden St. blows a 3-1 lead.  Cleveland wins.

Cleveland Indians blow a 3-1 lead.  Cubs win the World Series.

Full circle.  Chicago north side, my adopted home the past 7 years. Go Cubs Go! World champions! Woo-hoo!

I still can't figure out why Tito didn't start Salazar in Game 5 up 3-1.  They put Salazar on the post-season roster for a reason and then only used him for an inning in game 2 and two innings in game 6 both outings in relief.  Before he got hurt he was a much better pitcher this year than both Bauer and Tomlin (and certainly has had a far better career).  And I know he would have been limited to like 60 or 70 pitches, but that should have gotten him to the 4th or 5th inning when they were going to go to Miller anyway.  I just don't get why they put Bauer and Tomlin out there on short rest when they had Salazar available with a 3-1 series lead.  Start Salazar in game 5 and hope he gets you to Miller.  Then you have Bauer fully rested for a possible game 6 with Tomlin available in either Game 6 or Game 7 if need be.  And this isn't hindsight, I had many conversations with my co-workers about this while it was happening (I live in the greater Cleveland area).  Perhaps the greatest what if scenario of the World Series.
