What a moron.  The guy looks like he's crying most of the time that he is on the court.  Is basketball that sad?  He's suspended a game also for picking up a tech 32 seconds into the game.  A real man named Steven Adams made him cry.

Also, I agree with Doc.  Calling a grown man Boogie is ridiculous.

It takes time for players to adjust.   It takes time to learn how to win.

They now have two talented big men that have to now learn to play with another highly talented big man while still learning how to win in the NBA.

Or it could just implode.

Who knows.

On the flipside, they lost by double digits their second time out with Cousins to a terrible Mavericks team that played a guy named Dorian Finney-Smith for half the game.

Yes, it's only been three games but beating bad teams is what truly elite players are supposed to do, especially when you've got two of them who are potentially the best at their position and one is in his fourth year and the other in his sixth season.

They're definitely figuring out how to make it work. Boogie and Davis have been fine, but Jrue Holiday has really struggled. He's shot 11-for-36 overall, 2-for-14 on 3PTs, and has 16 turnovers in three games.

Bc they are turning him into a spot up shooter

Vs letting him play point

Not true.

Quote
"We've got to find a way to get him going offensively," Davis said. "I think he's looking to be a pass-first point guard, and we just need him to be aggressive. I think when we get him going, we'll be fine."

Holiday didn't necessarily disagree with that assessment.

"There might be certain times," he said. "[I'm] obviously trying to figure it out. Again, they're so dominant down there, you can't not throw it to them, especially when you have Boog [Cousins] down there. There might be times of that, but there's times when I have wide-open shots and just overthink it."

Jrue still has the ball in his hands (thus, the 16 turnovers), but he's not being aggressive right now.

Wow that's actually pretty insane.

I guess there truly is a reason half the league passed on trading for him. Pels were understandably desperate with them needing to impress AD a bit.

They're justified in doing so. On offense he's extremely quick for his size. Running back on defense he suddenly turns into the second coming of Luis Scola.

He has terrific balance with the ball in his hands or shooting through contact. When he thinks he's fouled and doesn't get a call, he suddenly has gumby legs and falls over underneath the basket crying to the referee, followed by, you guessed it, plodding back on defense at Scola pace.

It's awful to watch.

He had some decent defensive "stats" in his first game vs. the rockets with decent steal numbers. Here's what his defense was actually like in that game.

Nice fake hustle

Watch the first 3 quarters of the rockets vs pels game where he had a line:

27 points / 14 rebounds / 5 assists / 5 steals / 4 blocks

You look at the stat line and go "wow, he had an amazing game".

Watch that game and see how lazy that guy is on the defensive end.

Not even Rasheed Wallace put an embarrassing effort like that.

If Kelly pulled crap like this, do you think Brad would let his ass move from the bench the rest of the game? I dont.

Pelicans still haven't won with him.  They are 1-3 since acquiring him.

When Isaiah was traded to the Celtics in 2015...they went 3-1.

Interesting...no?

I think they bought him as a fire sale .  Hoping to flip him to Celtics , Lakers , for a load of picks
