What is plain to see is that the Celtics need a active Center badly.
We need to make a trade for a center.

Yeah. Lookin' bad. Stevens has to end his love affair with softee Zeller. Same deal last year this time. Lost first two games starting him. Plus they really miss Smart.

They either have to give Mickey some big minutes or go after Boogie in a serious way. Can't see Olynyk being the answer defensively. Amir did nothing tonite.

I don't know what it's going to cost, but...

Please bring Boogie to Boston.

Note: I didn't watch the game tonight and only looked at the box score so far, but I have to wonder this: does Brad actually know how to use a good big man? We've seen him get the most out of average guys like Olynyk Sully and Zeller. But when a guy like Horford comes along, you have to figure that Brad should get him more involved in the offense. Does Brad know how to use a good big like Horford? He's never had a big  as good as Horford, both in college and in the NBA.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

I'd love to have Boogie too, but I don't think the Kings are selling.

I can't believe I am going to say start Zeller instead of Johnson. Let Horford play PF.  Johnson was horrible he needs to be traded with picks for a true center.

I don't know why people are fixated on centers for rebounding and moving Horford to the 4. Many of the best rebounders in NBA history are PFs.

I don't think Horford can be fully appreciated in boxscores.

Yeah i understand that. But it was also like that in the opener against the nets. I watched that game, and even then, i felt that Horford was underutilized on offense.

Agreed I think we need more a legit PF, although I feel like Steven's would probably play him at the 5 for half the game whoever it is. Playing Crowder and Brown at the PF spot for most of the game isn't the solution.

I sure hope CB doesn't dissolve into incessant Zellar blaming for the Celtics rebounding woes. He's doing the best he can. He battles players who are heavier and more athletic. No matter what he does isn't going to change that.

Rebounding concerns should have been taken care of during the off-season.
