This Celtics team is like the Spurs

It's amazing how many offensive weapons the Celtics have. It seems like every player can shoot the three and shoot it good. I can't remember a team with this many skilled position players other then the Spurs when they beat the Heat.

Horford shoots a high percentage, Crowder is way above his career percentage, Green is perfect tonight (but had a few off nights in SL). Not sure the Spurs comparison is quite fair just yet.

Its a possibility. Perhaps a small one but it would be great if this team could emulate that Spurs team.

Al Horford is the big fundamental part two.

We have Isaiah and Horford who are similar to duncan and parker when they were good and really good wing players who can score and defend.  So yes we are similar.

 I think we are even more up tempo and offensive and have even more talent and scoring on the wings.

Brown is basically the next Kawii in the making.  Crowder is the poor mans version in the interm.

Yes. The Spurs beat the heat with their system and an over load of talented players. We have an overload of talent.

Whoops going back and forth between two threads.   I think we can be even better in ways.  We have our own brand and are really up tempo.

Yeah, that's a really good comparison for his playing style. Just a very solid, overall basketball player who plays the game the right way.

This thread got quiet once the Celtics just let one of the worse teams in the NBA back into a game at home. The Celtics have a long way to go before they should be mentioned with the Spurs. For now, they are developing and it was good to win the first game.

I felt that Brad blew it by only having two players in the back court to receive the ball. Bring everybody back if you have to, Brad.
