Why not move it to the NBA Season thread?

Because we have an entire NBA forum, and the Cavs and Warriors are going to get a ton of attention.

Gross. Hopefully this thread is pretty empty.

No offense to you, Roy. Just screw the Cavs.  ;)

Though this year's Warriors might beat them for my most unliked team.

Well, you can use this thread to revel in their losses.

The makeup of the Cavs team is solid, but nothing special. I really think Lebron could get 20+ teams to the Finals.

TP to all of this.

At least the Knicks look horrible.

So many people on ESPN think the Knicks are playoff bound.

Knicks are an interesting team.  I could see them win anywhere from 35 to 55 games depending on how they come together and health.  I'd probably project around 40 wins, which will put them in the playoff hunt, and with reasonable health think they will make the playoffs.

That said, they didn't look very good against the Cavs.  Though who knows if that is just because the Cavs are that good or NY just isn't very good.  Frankly, I don't think anyone would have beaten the Cavs on that night.  Just a real emotional night in Cleveland.

I loved when LeBron wore these shirts in the Finals:

And I love how it played out last night:

(Undertake and his wife, with Warrior's wife and daughter).

And you can see video here of Undertaker meeting Chris Andersen, James Jones, and Richard Jefferson here:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-TsSN0DyzBE

Kind of amazing how regular Undertaker looks next to NBA players.

And he shot a promo for the Cavs too:

I always think it's kind of cool how even famous people get excited to meet other famous people from different industries.  Just a reminder of how "normal" celebrities can still be.

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

The Undertaker stuff was cool.  I always really like seeing wrestlers meet "real" sports (no insult to wrestlers, great entertainers and good athletes in their own right).

Slightly off topic, as I saw someone say a while ago when it comes to rap and basketball, every rapper wants to be a ball player and every ball player wants to be a rapper.

Hot take: Cavs are good.

Three games in and undefeated still.  Beast of the East right now.
Well-rounded squad with a coach who knows how to use all the moving parts and giant egos.

Celts have no shot at these guys without a legit interior presence.

Wait, wait, wait.. Let's not get ahead of ourselves here. They should be 3-0. I give them credit for beating Toronto in Toronto, who they barely beat, btw, but they've had a ridiculously easy schedule so far, too.
- 2 games at home
- Both of those games were against non-playoff teams last year (and who will more than likely neither be playoff teams this year)
- No back-to-backs

Our schedule has been more difficult with back-to-back games, more away games (including on the second night of a back to back), and much more difficult opponents (I've long said Chicago is more likely to make the playoffs than New York, though likely as a 7th or 8th seed).

I don't think you needed to see the 3 games this year to project that Boston as currently constructed has no chance of beating a healthy Cleveland team in a 7 game series.

Cavs are a better team than us regardless of schedule, until we knock them off.
