The Jaylen Brown experience has been positive thus far.
And green, aside from moments in the fourth quarter, was good as well.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Green and Zeller managed to finish -9 on the team in +/-. I have no idea how Zeller does it, even when he plays well he doesn't help the team.

I 2nd that, love the very 2nd play of Brown's career is literally trying to posterize someone, can you imagine if that was a successful dunk, it would've been top play AND the crowd would've explode!

Celtics give up too many offensive rebounds, and second chance opportunities. 24 in total.

Gerald Green can score, but needs to turn on the porch light. Maybe the hair is too tight.

And yeah CBS tried to save the starters for the National game with the Bulls.

A win is a win I guess.

Smart would have been a big help.  He doesn't settle for that lacking defensive effort and well he's the best defensive player on the team.  Hope he gets back soon.

Nets played hard, but were still down 20+ in the 4th.

And they jacked up 44 three-pointers. Just insane. Probably because they have few viable slashers or inside shooters.

Add to that their awful defense and they should be very bad.

As ugly as the end of this game was, there's a lot to be happy about.

I'll take that win, should have been easier than it was but it's a good learning experience. I'm actually going to throw some blame on the refs. They let things get out of hand, Nets were slamming some of the C's with no whistles. Guess it's the first game for everyone.

When KO is back Zeller and JJ may not see anytime, JJ really struggled. If Smart was out there he may have prevented the collapse by the second unit.

No injuries.
Got to feel a scare without actually losing the game.

Hopefully this helps us lock in
.

I think BRK might win a few games this season.
TP good points esp for the young guys. This will take time.

Should CBS have put the starters back in a few minutes earlier, maybe but hard to blame him for seeing if the bench could pull it out.

Horford ended with 11 pts, 6 ast, 5 rebs, 4 blk. He was 5-8 shooting, all misses were 3's, though he did make one.

He needs to be more involved offensively. There's no reason he should only have 8 shots compared to 15 for both Crowder and Bradley, let alone JJ also having 8 shots.

Agree. Him and Isaiah still aren't fully on the same page in games. Avery looks great in pick and roll with Horford, though, so that's good. Isaiah seems more comfortable with Amir still, and is having to talk to Horford while he comes to set the screens still. Not completely fluid yet, but it's getting better.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

The only reason why this game was close was because the Celtics took their foot off the gas pedal at the end. End of story.

Nets didn't play any defense all night until they put the scrubs in.  The C's were cruising along nice and easy, lots of open looks, pretty passes etc...which you can do when the other team isn't playing any D (or maybe can't play any D).  Their scrubs messed up the the party to their credit.  Take the W and get ready for tomorrow night.

As Tommy mentioned, in a week or so once they've had some games under their belt, we probably won't see something like this happen.

I like this game. It was a practice game.

Nets played as if it was game seven of the NBA finals, and we pretty much toyed with them and proved that we could beat them anytime we wanted.

This helps the Cs know how good they are without waking up other teams to that realization. Even the Nets now think they can hang with us.

Where our depth strength will flourish is in the dog days of the season, after back to backs and teams are reeling from the effect of multiple games and we get to play second unit vs. second unit we will win win win .

Today the Nets were able to keep their starters in to mount a comeback, but in the middle of the season their starters will be reeling and in need of rest.

The experience of extended play was good for our Smartless and Olynykless bench.

This team is really good.

Yeah I am really going to enjoy watching him get better as the season goes on.

In case you were wondering... I'm still worried the Nets will be better than people think.  Last year they were devastated by injuries.  If they stay healthy this year, they could play out of the bottom 5.
