I'm going to miss this game =(

Do you have League Pass, either through a cable/TV provider or broadband? Because you should be able to still watch it a couple of hours afterwards on the archives, unless the League Pass Nazis did away with that this year, too.

Still, it's not the same as watching it live, unfortunately.

I'll be buying it through my cable provider. I'll find a way regardless to watch it. But I'll be at a concert.

nba is messy, we start the season on a 3 in 4 days. works for me as a watching fan but I wanted us to ease into the season.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Looks like Smart is playing it safe and definitely ruled tomorrow off of the table for him, which I'm guessing means Thursday in Chicago, as well.

He said for now he's sticking to the couple weeks projection, but hopefully he'll be good to go to make his season debut on Saturday in Charlotte.

It's smart for sure not to play tomorrow, and I think we can handle Chicago without him, too, though his perimeter D will surely be missed. But I'd really like to have him in Charlotte.

Apparently, the halftime entertainment tonight per Chris Forsberg on Twitter is Red Panda.  So no way in heck that the Celtics lose now.

It's finally game day!  I can't wait for the game, and either the "The Celtics are the best team in the league!" or "The Celtics are gonna miss the playoffs!" threads we'll no doubt have tomorrow

Seeing how Lin and Horford help their respective teams will also be a good preview of how our playoff and lottery chances will be
I'm bitter.

I'm always nervous when Smart misses a game. Don't care who it's against .

Man, I'm already sick of the Celtics playing the Nets.  I wish they had opened against a team they hadn't seen in SL.  Oh well, here's to hoping for a good start to 2016-2017 season.

I agree. And the GS/SA game from last night was an "any given Sunday" kind of game. No one had San Antonio winning by 30.

Also of interest to me: Despite the fact that people are more excited about the Celtics than anyone has been in a long time, as of T minus 7, there are still a thousand tickets for sale on the Celtics resale site. In the past few years, numbers had been much lower by this point.

Don't worry, we've already seen people move the goalposts on that one on these boards.

Hopefully Smart isn't out too long. Rozier isn't ready to play that level of D.
