zizic killing it overseas with yabu over in china working on his body after showing well against rockets and nader getting a chance to impress and shoot threes while learning bostons systems for red claws
jackson will get his runs up in maine and shuttle to waltham and some home games
not a bad draft considering jackson is a keeper
losing a first to waivers or trade and bentil not such a big deal
also danny dodged a bullet with sully and his foot
green the wildcard that forced the loss of rj or hunter hopefully will pay real time dividends
although i love rj-i would go for young and hope he continues to bulk up and he was the higher draft chioce and a project--ainge will someday get his knockdown shooter

Yes Rollie...there is some potential in Zizic (very active 7-footer) and Yabu (beast of a player).

I don't see what others see in Nader but if he could be a true rotation player...that would be a pleasant development.

This is all the more reason Danny needs to make some kind of a 3-for-1 upgrade that unclogs the roster they have now. There are just so many other players waiting in the wings who will be ready for more time next season.

he seemed to mature senior year then had a very good portsmith tournament and came on strong in summer league
shot the three well and got to the basket-as tall as rj and young he has more bulk and can move on defense--the thing he has that is elite is wingspan 7-1-that helps on defense-he has a nice three point shot and is more physical than young and rj-

so, are they going to have to cut or somehow get rid of 2 other guys on the current roster if zizic and yabusele are to be on the team next year?

I hope not as I think those two have some real potential.

That's Michael Ray Richardson in the background.
And then there is this.....
"Ainge was known as a hard-nosed player, often infuriating opponents with his brash personality. He also had a reputation for complaining about a lack of calls his way, frequently complaining when calls were not made in his favor. In a 1983 playoff game against Atlanta, he exchanged blows with the 7 foot 1 inch Tree Rollins. In retaliation for being called a sissy, Tree Rollins elbowed Danny Ainge in the face. Ainge tackled Rollins and the two began wrestling. Tree bit Ainge's middle finger so hard that it requiring two stitches to keep the tendon together. Ainge was ejected from the contest for initiating the fight. The incident prompted the headline "Tree Bites Man" on the April 25, 1983 Boston Herald."
