Thomas Bryant is my pick as this drafts Joel Embiid.

Jahlil Okafor would be great on the Celtics and I hope we trade for him. Okafor has much more potential on defense...and offense than most people care to see or mention.
Very few drafts have a Joel Embiid. He was the clear number one over Wiggins and Parker. Once a decade prospect.

I dont even know who Thomas Bryant is, but Id be shocked if hes 1/2 of Embiid as a prospect.

11 points and 12 boards in 14 minutes tonight.   Kid looks great.

Supposedly the plan is to get him to 20-25 minutes at the start of the season.

Haven't watched any Sixers preseason games other than when we played them. Have they played him with Noel or Okafor at all yet, or are all three of them purely playing the 5? I've only seen snippets, and I've never seen any of those three together.
Neither are playing due to injuries I don't think.  Okafor is recovering from surgery I think and Noel must have had a minor injury because he didn't travel with the team.

Okafor hasn't played yet but is supposed to be ready by the start of the season.  Noel played 1 game (not on the court at the same time with Embiid) but suffered a groin injury and hasn't played since.

Okafor and Noel have been out with injuries.  Some think Noel is faking his.

Don't forget he ended his college season with a stress fracture in his spine as well as the fracture in his foot...

That's two stress fractures after one college season...  Seems unlikely this poor (well actually rich) kid will ever make it through an NBA season.

Really? Any reputable sources or just speculation?

Embiid is a beast on both ends.  Second time he's gone 7 of 8 FTs (only shot 65FT% in college).  Unfortunately for them, their guard play, excluding Bayless who is injured, is as god awful as last year.  Embiid joked about playing PG but with a few days of training he probably would be their best PG.

Here are a few Embiid clips.

No reputable sources.  Just people speculating he's grumpy that he's on the team.

He does look like a stud...I have a certain former Rocket HOFer I'd like to compare him to but I'll wait until I see him more in the regular season for that.

In the meantime I hope he can "Process" all these loses that will be coming his way..

I wish him good health and continued growth.

Sophomore center out of Indiana. He's interesting, but he's really nothing special. I believe he's expected to be a mid-to-late first.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

That nickname is terrible.  It's way too close to "the Princess".  If I was going against him, I'd call him Princess all game.  You know KG would.

If you ever go up against Embiid, I recommend brown shorts.    ;D

Have you seen the rumor of Smart and Brown and first round pick for Anthony Davis ?
