blatt uses zizic story of a 16 1/2 yr old kid going against strongest big man  and he kept getting knocked down and just getting up till the big guy walked away-and blatt said that kid will be in the nba-
it gets tiring just watching dunks

Statline: 35 pts (13/16 FG, 9/13 FT), 12 reb in 30 minutes

It may just be their offensive scheme but one thing I like about Zizic is that his feet are always moving. He runs the floor well and on offense the kid is always in motion looking for the passing lane. That kind of thing will serve him well in the NBA. So many big men just kind of settle in the block or stand around looking for the PG to find the right angle. Zizic looks like he actively is looking for that defensive seam and moves to get into the right position.
Jaylen Brown will be an All Star in the next 5 years.

We could really use someone like zizic

Although he's only 19, so he probably wouldn't play much here

And it's nice to have 4 rookie years of salary on the books starting next year
I trust Danny Ainge

I'm very excited that he's coming, more so then Yabusele who was picked earlier.

Second video was more of what I was looking for.  He showed that he could do more than dumk on offense.  He moves pretty well without the ball.  He puts some strange reverse spin on his glass shots, but they seem to go in (of course they don't show his misses in the highlights).  Hopefully he continues to develop.
Yup

He's shooting 69% so there aren't many misses.

This kid is going to be better than Noel next year, that's why it makes no sense for us to trade for Noel right now when we have Zizic coming next year on a cheap long term deal.

I am just as excited for zizic as the next guy, but lets hold off until he plays in tbe nba before we say he is better then an uber athletic rim runner who is a great defender.

Looking good, in a 'classic big man' sort of way.  However, two concerns:
1) He looks like a man among boys.  Will his post game and dominant physique translate to the NBA?
2) No outside shot.  This is the becoming more important for big men in the modern NBA.

He's an 80% foul shooter with terrific form. His outside game will develop.

The thing I like about Zizic is that he actually plays big.
He's got really long arms.
He scores inside easily, and he bothers or blocks shots.
His size looks legit.
Is he 7 foot by now because that wouldn't surprise me.

Really hope Zizic can step in next year because he could be the #5 rim protecting and rebounding big that we are looking for.

Mod should put this on the sticky thread, along with the Yabu one.
