The guys he's beating up on are barely big enough to physically compete with college players.

That being said, he's only 19 years old.

Definitely a promising prospect. Excellent hands and motor. Shot is very sweet/crisp too for such an ogre.

What I see in this clip -- probably the high point of Perk's career, offensively -- is a guy who is considerably slower than Ante. 

Perk did get a good number of uncontested dunks.  What I recall -- and I see this in the above clip a good amount, too -- is that Perk would use his strength and size to pointedly clear out space inside, then he would catch, do a single dribble, and then go up with both hands to either dunk or lay it in off the backboard.  Perk was not really much of a set-a-pick-and-rocket-to-the-rim kind of guy.  He couldn't really take advantage of an open lane to the basket unless there was truly nobody within fifteen feet. 

There wasn't really any finesse, grace, or explosion to his game.  All plodding strength and basic mechanics inside.

Yes. Zizic outstrips Perkins in all the areas you mention. TP for the comp.

He is. He's not "just another white guy", however.  Their games have some similarities, as does their progression through Europe.

"White guys", specifically Euro bugs, are going to tend to be the best comparison, due to stylistic similarities.

Honestly reminds me of Zaza Pachulia. Can play both high post and on the block. Isn't a player that you rely on to get his own, but can go and get his own on the block. Fundamental and also a good passer. Can hit the little high post j too. I think Zizic is definitely more athletically and physically gifted. Most of you may not like it, but Pachulia is also a starting center on the best team in the NBA.

zizic looks pretty mobile for a 7 footer. i hope he can make mid range turn around jumpers in the nba as well. i am looking forward to seeing how his game translates into the nba.

This kid is 19.5 years old right now. He's already mobile out on the perimeter, with huge shoulders, 7-feet, bangs down low, finishes with both hands, rebounds, chases guards, good form on his jump shot, etc etc. I seriously can't think of anything bad to say about him other than "the league is moving away from 7-footers". Just imagine this dude 6 years from now at age 25. I'm pumped.
