I saw that. Really hope at the deadline we get the captain back. We need him back in green

I would have liked to have him on the roster for this season as it would have been a great way to end his basketball career. Oh well. Looking forward to his last game in the Garden.

same but I honestly think that if the Clippers are still competing for a chip, Pierce might want to stay. If that does happen, I can see him getting traded in the offseason and retire here

Sunday Feb 5th, Clippers at Boston.  Probably would be nice to have tickets to that game.

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

Oh God, this tears me apart :(

As crazy as it sounds but just for this season, if it won't be Boston who will win the chip, I'll be rooting for the Clips.

I was pretty broken up about KG. It's going to be awful after PP's last one.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

Good. I'm glad he announced it. Hopefully he'll get the farewell tour that Kobe got and Duncan and KG deserved.

Talk about the end of an era, huh?

I love the guy, but he is toast as a player.

Should have gone out with KG this year.

For a classy guy who is a consummate pro, I HOPE Paul has a solid year in his role.  He was pretty off last year.  Looked good with Washington but I think LA has some disfunction going on within team that will make it hard

Wish he'd finish with Boston.....him being on the Clippers is just weird and just seems wrong

How come no thread about "The Truth's" retirement announcement?

Is he having a tour? Any chance he signs a 1 day contract to retire as a Celtic?
