Celtic or not.  Thought a dedicated thread for KG's retirement would be nice.

I'll leave some of the big ones out there and start with a classic KG/Sager interview:

And a classic knockout screen to put a cap on our 1st round in 08:

For me...easy.

The night in Madison Square Garden, at near end of a tie game, he told Carmelo his wife tasted like vanilla. Now that's getting in your opponents head.

Just watching his reaction EVERY TIME they played the Gino dance on the big screen. His reaction was priceless.

Honey Nut Cheerios

I always said when I left the Celtics, I could not go to heaven, because that would
be a step down. I am pure 100 percent Celtic. I think if you slashed my wrists, my
blood would’ve been green.  -  Bill "Greatest of All Time" Russell

The moment right before tip off.

The camera is always on KG and he is pounding his head against the stanchion, sweat streaming down his face, talking to himself.  He then turns around and tells the Refs to start the game.

Nothing gets you more pumped for a game.

Definitely his resurgence in the 2012 season and especially 2012 playoffs. He put up 19, 10, 1.5, 1.5, and 1.2 in the 2012 playoffs as a 36 year old, and they were mere minutes (and a series of biased officiating) away from going back to the Finals, where I think they would've defeated OKC pretty handily.

Here's a great oral history of KG's career from teammates, coaches and friends.

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2421236-a-man-in-full-the-many-sides-of-kevin-garnett-the-player-who-changed-the-nba

And here's maybe the best story, from Tyronn Lue:

Quote
A lot of people do all their howling on the court and they’re faking just for attention, but what he does is genuine. So one day we were at his house and we were watching Puff Daddy’s show ‘Making the Band,’ and in one of the scenes, some new guys came in and were trying to sing and were trying to compete against the guys who had been there. And KG just got so hyped, ‘Motherf—-r, you’ve got to stand up for yours! You’ve got to fight! Motherf—-r, you’ve got to come together!’ He’s going crazy, he’s sweaty. And he just headbutts the wall and put a hole in the wall of his house.

Oh man, I forgot about that one. When he straight up looked directly in the camera and said "the owners who talk too much," I about lost it lol

Speaking of that, that dagger three by Pierce in Game 5 in Miami is one of my all-time favorite plays. We nearly pulled off the impossible that year, and we were a historic Lebron James performance at the Garden away from another probable title. The 2012 Boston team is definitely one of my all-time favorite teams. Such underdogs that persevered.

Dude same, I have probably watched that Pierce 3 a few hundred times now! That game had some epic plays, also one of my favorite teams and a playoffs run.

Also remember that Pierce game against the Hawks when Rondo got suspended? He just gave them the Tebow!!
