Ok. That Notre Dame receiver just did a one handed cartwheel into the end zone and I have never seen that

couple good games, couple close but not very good games, and a lot of blowouts.  Not sure I'd call this the best opening weekend ever.

Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson

Multiple very meaningful upsets and teams scheduling very strong games out of conference to start the season.

Teams like FSU and Bama used to schedule Southwest Texas Teacher College the first game of the season. This time they scheduled Ole Miss and USC.

Texas is starting a freshman at home and beating Notre Dame.

Navy pulled their 4th string freshman QB out of the stands, told him to change out of his dress uniform, and played him.

#5 LSU lost to Wisconsin at Lambau.

Appalachian St pushed #9 Tennessee to OT at Tennessee.

Two top 5 teams lost opening weekend and that hasn't happened since like the 70s.

I think it's a little funny that Doug Flutie does almost all the Notre Dame games.

So the playoff rankings come out in a few minutes.  Shouldn't be any real mystery, but I guess you never know.

Good thing they played that Big 10 Championship Game!
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Hm.. How about when you can't win your division?

I agree. I'm going to be rooting hard for Clemson on NYE. I don't see Alabama losing a game.
