could you have a better cadre of defenders than crowder, marcus and avery a blend of styles and experience
-the ability of being able to get over the top of screens by marcus and avery coupled with an innate sense of disrupting passing lanes and ball hawking
there is a certain way that marcus leverages his strength going over top while avery uses more of a feline kind of quickness
jaylen could be a marcus type coupled with avery's quickness

rj seemed to pick up some tips on correcting the position of his stance, rozier to me is still is
learning the art of getting over the top
the ability to watch and play against this should rapidly advance jaylen in this area,
another thought and this could be important, that the celts carry a reputation for aggressive  defense jaylen might avoid rookie mickey mouse fouls

marcus also likes to rebound and follow up shots  and rozier has quickly got a reputation as a rebounding guard this will challenge and motivate jaylen
to be immersed in this kind of culture with jaylens elite athleticism is a promising for the rookie

then another bonus of the acquisition of green is his 10 years experience after coming in at a young age with elite vertical and the actual harnessing of this talent
all the nuances of a  high flyer that are necessary against nba bigs,
watching isaiah use his body against bigs will be eye opening for anyone and his use of change of pace
both crowder and smart will teach him the tricks of playing multiple positions and the use of body and stance to fight down low and what you can and can't get away with-invaluable stuff to a rookie

marcus, avery, crowder come out from opening tap aggressive on defense and play all game with this style and that enforces their rhythm on refs to let them play
-active feet and hands and positioning coupled with bbiq cause havoc on perimeter
-
rozier  and jackson are also extensions of the mindset that ainge is fostering for his rookies
speaking of ainge both zizic and yabusle stashed with nader in maine seems to have been perfectly played-
we can watch the red claws with jackson, nader,rj,mickey and keep track of zizic  in europe and yabusele in china-
lots of basketball  to follow

This is true.
he'll have 3 guys (avery, marcus, jae) to show him how to play elite on-ball defense; and an 2 guys (amir,al) to show him how to play elite rotation defense.

If he busts, it wont be on the defensive end.
Quote
Even at the end of the game, we lined up in different formation that he hadn't seen and he called out our play before I got the ball. I heard him calling it out. -John Wall on Brad Stevens

Jaylen has been hanging around with jimmy butler since jaylens works out twice a day im assuming they've trained together which is great. Jimmy helped crowder a few years ago aswell and they are good friends too.
