Playoffs the last 2 yrs,  LeBron & Thompson  absolutely destroyed Horford on the boards.   Millsap was the only Hawk that held his own.

Lebron and Thompson destroy everyone when there committed to controlling the boards.

But agreed the Celtics will have to find him someone to help with the boards. He's not superman.

Not a big fan. Always felt Hordford miss too many games. Worries me paying him such a big contract as well. Hope he does make a big impact though. I just doubt it.

I'm not worried at all about his injury history.

In '09 he had a bone bruise and missed a month of the season.

The other two seasons that he missed games ,he missed for pec tears, on different sides of his body.

A single bone bruise and extremely uncommon (in basketball) pec tears are not like knee and ankle injuries.

Horford's injury history is way overblown.
