Last night, the Celtics rolled out the ability to post/repost tickets for sale through Tickets Now.

They have made a few updates to their resale structure, but nothing earth-shattering.

Note: After typing this, I realized that they haven't rolled out tickets to the general public, so it may change tomorrow after they do so.

The biggest change is the seat map. You used to see a "heat map" of which sections have more tickets and which ones have fewer tickets for sale. That is gone. It's all text, with a list that includes the row, seat numbers and price. That's a big negative for people who have favorably placed tickets (e.g., on an aisle) and a plus for those who are seats 10 and 11 of the last row in a section.

Buyers can also no longer sort by whether they want to include resale tickets. Resale tickets are automatically included. That's a plus for all sellers. The Celtics and Ticketmaster add a 21.5% surcharge to resale tickets. The only thing they add to the tickets directly from TM/Celtics is a $4.95 fee.
