He is definitely the best player in the game right now. If you watched the playoff's it was self evident.

When Adam Silver bails his begging a#$ out by suspending likely MVP Green before close out game, and Curry is playing injured; and Iggy hurts his back due to having to play Green's minutes.

Healthy GS > healthy CLE, but healthy Lebron > healthy Curry.

Ponder this: Lebron led all Finals players in every single counting statistic: points, rebs, assists, steals, and blocks. That has never been done in any playoff series; it was the greatest finals performance of all time. Maybe if Curry was healthy, he would have led in points--and Lebron still would have led in everything else.

Not in the first 4 games. Ponder his performance not existing in a vacuum, and defense mattering. They lose game 5, the series is over.

Begging for an opposing playing to be suspended is cowardly, and he did that.

"defense mattering"?

Did you even watch the series?

He led Cleveland to their title... He is the best player in the league... He deserves the money..  I think if they could they would give him even 50...

I thought it was a joke that Steph got MVP before they ever faced each other. Lebron os the best all around player, most dominant, as well as more valuable to his team. He showed how much better he was in the finals.

or steph did outplay him all year and was noticeably injured during the finals. either one.

Curry had the better year and deserved the MVP, but James is by far the best player in the World.  It isn't that close.

And for the record, Curry played worse last year in the Finals when he wasn't "injured" against Cleveland when the Warriors were the champions.

Edit: Curry even said the other day that yes Curry was injured and the warriors actually changed their game plan because of it. (http://www.csnbayarea.com/warriors/kerr-admits-currys-injuries-forced-few-adjustments-finals) So by putting "injured" in quotes like it is some made up thing you are calling Kerr and others liars (and making yourself kind of look like a jerk in the process). Look Cleveland was banged up really bad last year and didn't even have Irving or Love for most of the finals. This year the shoe was on the other foot as Curry was clearly limited, Iguodala was limited, Green was suspended and Bogut was out during the collapse. Injuries and suspension happen and it is fair to point them out and discuss their impact. I would have liked to have seen both teams fully healthy for both series, but it just wasn't the case.

Um, through the first 4 games, James led the series in all 5 of those stats. Well he was tied with Bogut for 7 blocks through 4 games.

My error. But he also easily led in the stat of turnovers, 23 total at that point.
In any case, that doesn't change anything else I wrote or the fact they were down 3-1 with the next game on the road.

Well the fact is that they didn't lose game 5 and  Lebron's stats line in the series is unique

Ever heard the saying "Defense wins championships"?
Quote
2015-16 NBA ALL-DEFENSIVE FIRST TEAM
Player (Team), 1st Team Votes, 2nd Team Votes, Total
Kawhi Leonard (San Antonio), 130, --, 260
Draymond Green (Golden State), 123, 5, 251
...

If Kawhi Leonard missed a game in the either of the Heat/Spurs Finals, James would of had a unique stat line then too.

Quote
Had Green been suspended earlier against the Thunder no finals for the Warriors. He wasn't , he did it again and got what he deserved

The Warriors lost the game following the one where Green kicked Adams, so not true. Also, his first flagrant of the playoffs involving Beasley in the Houston series was bs.

I don't really get the people that can't acknowledge there were a large number of breaks that went the way for Cleveland to win that series including suspensions, multiple injuries for golden states and an unheard of level of perfect health for Cleveland at that time of year. It doesn't diminish Cleveland's title at all, but it is just a fact. Everyone has always said you need a great team and a little bit of luck to win a championship in just about any sport. This year Cleveland had it. Why the nonsense arguing about it?

Same could be said about GSW winning without facing Kyrie or Love last year...

The stats say otherwise:
Stephen Curry        STL     FG%      3PT%      MP       Pts.       TRB       AST         STL
2015 Finals             11       .443      .385       42.5      26.0      5.2       6.3          1.8
2016 Finals              6        .403       .400       35.1      22.6      4.9       3.7        0.9

And if James blocked any of Curry's shots in the 2015 Finals, it wasn't an easy knock down like he got in this years Finals more than once.

I agree. I've said that repeatedly. If your gonna step in a thread with a half baked one liner at least read it.
