Yoki, where did you get those percentages? Rose shot 42% last year, and 29% from 3. His career averages are 44%, and 30% from 3. He has never shot 37.5% from 3 in any season.

They are D-Rose's stats from after the All-Star break. 21 games.

Woof cherry picking stats without citing the context.  Rough move Yoki

Toronto Raptors after 11:

pg: steph curry, marcus smart
sg: smart, jaylen brown, paul pierce, ray allen
sf: james johnson, brown, dunleavy, pierce
pf: patrick patterson, carl landry, ersan illyasova, bobby portis, kg, james johnson
c: brook lopez, patterson, portis, kg

What I like about this team is that there's a lot of versatility- multiple players can defend multiple positions. Besides a backup pg, backup 7fter, and lebron james, what else do you think is wrong with the Raptors?

Really like Patterson and Johnson - badly needed infusion of defensive ability.

Your big problem now is possessions. Patterson/Lopez is a bad rebounding tandem. And their back-ups are either too old, too gimpy or too green.

Then on the wings you have a bunch of old fogies who will struggle to rebound or create turnovers. Leaves you very dependent on 3 guys - Smart/Johnson/Brown - with major shooting/scoring issues for D and quickness, which really crowds the court for your 2 big guns.

Yes, I really like that as well. The starting lineup looks much more balanced.

I love the defensive energy and rebounding of Smart and James Johnson. Having two such highly skilled jump-shooting big men as Patterson and Brook Lopez will ease any offensive concerns with them as a starting duo on the wings.

I like Carl Landry as your best option at backup center (as your roster stands right now). I like him and Ilyasova as Toronto's main bigs off the bench. Very dangerous duo offensively. Then Portis as the 5th big man. KG as the 6th big.

The bench on the perimeter needs some work. A backup PG. I agree that Jaylen Brown is your best option at SG for the time being because he is the only one quick enough to defend that position. Then have Pierce and Dunleavy duke it out for the backup SF minutes. There are still plenty of options of useful bench guards available at PG and SG so you can address them with your final picks if need be.

I loved the Tyler Zeller pickup. Great value late in the draft. I really like Zeller and Sully off your bench. Then Chriss as the 5th big with potential to become a long term starter down the road. Quality bench bigs.

It would be nice to add a defensive wing as a different option from Vince and Hield.

It's not cherry picking when it's true. The last half of the season, he was doing great. And recent stats matter, right?  ;)

And I believe I did mention it's after the All-Star break.

Edit: I didn't.

WHOOPS. Sorry. I had that in mind, guess I forgot to add it... Ah crabs... Sorry. Sorry. Sorry.

George Hill/Chalmers
Oladipo/Hezonja
Hayward/Luwawu
Thad Young/Dwight Powell/Bender
Marc Gasol/Dedmon

Thoughts? My only concern is that the bench seriously lacks experience.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

I think your starting 5 is one of the best in the league.

I love the Marc Gasol & Thaddeus Young relationship. The speed and athleticism of Thaddeus Young vs the size of Marc Gasol. Gasol's high post game coupled with Thaddeus' slashing. I think those two complement one another very well.

I also really like Oladipo and Hayward next to George Hill. Two wings who like to create with the basketball next to a low usage PG. A setup PG. And a facilitating center in Marc Gasol.

The synergy is absolutely fantastic in this group.

Not sure about the bench though.

I really like what you did getting some good passers to go with Draymond especially Plumlee and a holefully healthy Splitter. I think Hood is very underrated and he's a fantastic fit on this team as well. I love the shooting off the bench, but the lack of defense hurts. Barbosa/Rush/Lamb/Anderson/Splitter will let in more than they can score. Get some defensive guys with the remaining picks.

I think the only issue I have, is you don't necessarily have a pure scorer to help take the offensive load off of Draymond. Teague is a fine player but hes not necessarily the passer needed to work with Green.

Overall well done building around Green, but not perfect.

Looks like my roster is filling out well. I feel like I can play both big or small lineups
What do you guys think of my bench, I really like it but I feel like there are a few guys that might not be common names

Reggie Jackson --- Ish Smith
CJ McCollum --- Tim Hardaway Jr. --- RJ Hunter
Rondae Hollis-Jefferson --- Lance Thomas
Blake Griffin --- Jon Leuer
Gorgui Dieng --- Joel Embiid

Scary to depend on Embiid as your primary big man back-up. Could be good, could be lousy, could be complete unavailable. I'd get some big man insurance for him ASAP.

Would like to see a defensive alternate for Leuer as well - he really struggles defensively for as good as he shoots the ball.

I'd go defense with all of your remaining picks - you have an extraordinarily explosive offensive team with your top 3 guys, but RHJ is your only genuinely good defender (Griffin and Dieng solid too, but they have some limitations as defensive bigs - Dieng a bit of a lightweight who can get manhandled and Griffin handicapped a bit by his standing reach)

Any suggestions on who you would Start at the three for this team.

 Okafor Sabonis
 Randle Maker Ellenson
Evan Turner/ Jeramai Grant/ Caris Levert
 Wade Valentine
 Lowry

Levert is like a more athletic Evan Turner, that can shoot the three .446% from three last year.

Grant is a very good defender , he can get you 13 ppg 6 rpg 2 bpg 1 spg per 36.

Turner is rock solid but doesn't space the floor.

Valentine is my guy and can really shoot it but will struggle some on Defense.

If anyone has a three and D SF on the block let me know. I have tons of Bigs.
