I have had a man crush on the Manimal for a long time. I feel like he'd be a sneaky good trade target for a 3 for 1 consolidation trade. Something like JJ, Rozier, Young & a non-BKN pick for him. Run him out in the second unit next to Kelly.

Thomas/Smart/Jackson
Bradley/Green/Hunter
Crowder/Brown
Johnson/Faried/Mickey/Bentil
Horford/Olynyk/Zeller

I like the idea of Faried, but taking away Jerebko's shooting/defensive mobility is a big blow.

I'd prefer to swap Amir for him and start him to get the most out of his rebounding and defensive hustle playing next to Crowder and AB (a lot more steal opportunities for a shoot the gaps guy like Faried).

Zach Lowe mentioned him as a trade option in his most recent podcast. He also mentioned that Faried's personality might mean that he becomes a problem if you try to bring him off the bench.

I'd love to have him as a bench player, but if doing so might cause an issue in the locker room, we should stay away. I'd also want to give up considerably less in any Faried deal because he's not exactly a high value commodity and would hinder our ability to offer a max contract next offseason.

I'm a fan of his. His energy would be a great fit for this team, and his rebounding could help with our biggest difficiency. The problem is his contract is more than one year and any contract that could cut into our max cap space next year is a non starter.

Great... Another undersized power forward that not only cannot shoot, score, pass, or do half of the things necessary to thrive in Brad Stevens system.   :o

He doesn't even qualify as meh.  He is a crap defender and provides nothing offensively.  Replacing Jerebko with Faried on the 2nd unit would flat crush the spacing and defense.

Denver's motivation?  Seems like another "take our bags of balls for one of your best players" type deal.

He's a bad defender and he has no range offensively but he can be very useful. Great offensive rebounder and a blur in transition - generates a lot of easy buckets with his activity, which is something no one else on this roster can do. He also has some utility defensively with his speed - sandwiched between excellent, disciplined defenders in Crowder and Horford, his defensive deficiencies would be mitigated somewhat and his ability to make plays and grab loose balls would fit well in our aggressive scheme.

Only way I see a team trading for Faried is if they have to take him to get Jokic. Something like
Crowder, Hunter and AJ for Jokic, Nelson and Faried.

IT, AB, Green, Hordford, Jokic starters
Rozier, Smart, Brown, Faried, KO Bench
DJ, Young, Bentil, JJ, Zeller reserves

It depends on what people think of Jokic to decide which team is winning this trade or if it's even fair. Jokic is a nice center. And Faried and KO bench duo would be interesting for energy guys.

I'm looking over his numbers. It's kind of weird, he's been a starter for most of his career but never averaged 29 minutes a game. Last season he only played 25 mpg. If his defense is a problem and his offense is limited, how much is a rebounding specialist worth to you?

Ehhh, I'm good
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

He's fine as like a 3rd or 4th big off the bench, nothing more. I wouldn't trade JJ, Roz, OR a pick for him.
