As I think both played poorly in Summer League and that neither RJ nor James are NBA players and should be waived, I would readily make this trade.

I voted no.

I'd only do it in a world where A) We were going to be getting rid of them, anyway and B) Pierce accepts his role as more of a mentor than an everyday player and was willing to come off the bench behind Brown.

Pierce is done - No interest in watching one of my favorite players embarrass himself on the floor.

Also I have not given up on Hunter either.. Funny hearing some people calling him slow and wanting to bring back an old Pierce who in his prime was slow as molasses lol.

No, and I wouldn't trade anyone on the Patriots for Drew Bledsoe either. Not that Bledsoe has to be traded for, but still.

Yeah,  I don't like our old sports heros staying too long and looking very u like themselves  .   

He is better served for history to step away before is shockingly embarrassing for everybody , or take a job as a coach or front office guy.
