Lifshatz and Deadmik3 are both saying to stay patient on Twitter.

And around and around we go!

And when this stops...nobody knows!

Draft night 2017, I'm guessing.

No way. Then we start talking about the 2018 pick. Then the Memphis pick. And by 2019, we'll probably have something else.

Yes. Stay patient on Twitter. You never know when the biggest laughs will come around.

You'd think if one of the biggest names in the league had come close to being traded, it would be a far bigger story

We get it. You're skeptical of the whole rumor. You've made your point clear.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

You know baby Azz CP3 threatened to quit Doc , if he traded Blake .

Basically if CP3 is gone ....Doc s cAreer is defunct....he will once again ride near the bottom feeder coach and kill off his new found legacy ...as a great coach  ::)

Trading Blake would pretty much end CP3 / Doc era.

Why would that happen?  The Clippers easily won as many games with Blake out as they did with him in the lineup.  It's not that Blake isn't talented, it's the fact he's not a great fit with the Clippers roster.  If Blake wants out and the Celtics can offer good value that will improve the Clips, I don't see why a deal won't get done.

As to your mind-reading of CP3, I have no idea how that's even possible.  But in the end the GM makes the decisions, not the players.

Griffin+Westbrook or Cousins+Westbrook.  Then we can book our tickets to the Finals!  LOL, that would be a dream come true!

Someone made it up based on what Bill Simmons said in his podcast months ago.  Simmons kept saying Griffin was a sleeper trade candidate after his incident.   But unless Griffin is hinting to the Clippers he's leaving next Summer, there's basically no reason to believe he's being traded.  Reportedly, he's not available.  The price would be extremely high.  They brought him with their KD recruiting party.

thats a separate discussion entirely but even if this fantasy was true, that team would just be a little better than the clippers at best.

He only believes things if it's pro-Sixers, regardless of source. Anything critical of the Sixers or beneficial to the Celtics is immediately discarded. It's an interesting case study on why he posts so much on a board about a team he thinks so little of. At least he does it with the utmost humility.

Do you have a point?  Or are you just sharing what each team did last year?

The rumor is probably false (and if it were true it would have to involve Amir going to Sacto or Zeller getting traded there via a sign and trade), but for the sake of argument let's pretend it's not.

We would be replacing Bradley, Olynyk, Turner, Sullinger, Zeller (he would be sent to Sacramento for salary matching pruposes) and Rozier with Horford, Griffin, Pierce, Brown, Jackson and Green I think we are clearly better.

If Griffin was healthy the roster would be worthy of 55-60 wins, imo

The rumors were more extensive than that.  Supposedly, Griffin was no longer viewed as untouchable and the Clippers were at least listening to offers, even if a deal was unlikely.  There were rumors of talks at the deadline with Denver and Orlando.  I am inclined to believe there was some discussion but no serious negotiations.
