Heard his name dropped on a Ringer podcast so I had to do some research.
Mentioned that he has a 7'9 wingspan for a 6'11 kid. This is not human. He'll definitely challenge DeAndre Ayton for the top bigman spot.

Watched a clip of his on youtube. Typical HS domination so I took no mind. But one moment stood out. Pic below of his orangutan arms..goodness

Even at the end of the game, we lined up in different formation that he hadn't seen and he called out our play before I got the ball. I heard him calling it out. -John Wall on Brad Stevens

He doesnt seem fundamentally sound enough to challenge ayton. However, assuming the nets arent a complete dumpster fire in '18, this kid might be in play around 6-10. That would be awesome because I could see this kid struggling in college, but then having an nba prime of like 14/13/4 lol. His wings are insane.

Actually, i would argue that he has decent enough touch. i think a 70% free throw shooter?
My biggest concern is the weight. I highly doubt that you can put more than 240 on a 7'9 wingspan body

The kid's two years away from the draft and we're already projecting his "nba prime" stats?

Lol we are talking about a kid going to be a senior in high school. The whole point of drooling over these kids is to engage in wild speculation. I was more trying to get the point across that i dont think he would be a huge scorer, but would be a good rebounder and shot blocker based on his physical assets and timing.

Yea he could totally be a bust.

That settles it:

The 2018 Brooklyn pick is officially off the table.

This guy's potential is really amazing.  He is so long, yet so coordinated.  Wow.

I made a post about him a few months ago. He's a freak of nature. Gobert 2.0.

Reminds me a lot of myself at my current age, playing against my kids on a 7' rim.
