So he can't play offense. Who cares. Tell him to D it up, grab offensive rebounds, and let's have the best defense in the league by a lot.

 Noel
 Horford
 Crowder Brown
 Bradley Rozier
 Smart  Thomas

That's the Defensive first rankings, everyone is a good defender there except Thomas, but he tries and he's an all star.

That's a tough call.

I don't think Noel is a $20M man - not even close.

But I think Noel is worth at least 50% more the Mosgov, who got about $18M, so in today's salary climate it's kinda hard to say no to that deal considering he's pretty darn close to being a 10 point, 10 rebound, 2 assist, 2 block, 2 steal guy and is only 22.

Plus he's not a heavy-weight big man (at only around 230 pounds) and is very well conditioned, so he really SHOULD be pretty safe healthy wise in the long term.

So I guess yeah, I would (hesitantly) give him the deal.

I agree Crimson.  It's the New NBA. Plus it's just cap space, no Asset's. We pick up Horford and Noel without unloading assets, can't complain.

Well first, they're is the cap Jump from 94 million to, 104 to 108 million? That should be at least 10 million there.

Amir and Jerkebo off the books, that's 17 million of potential call space, plus Zeller another 8 million.

So just quickly that's 35 million of cap space if we wanted Noel that badly, plus another good free agent. Might want to keep Jonas at the right price.

If the cap is 108 million that would be 39 million.

Just sign Durant and one of Gobert, Noel, or Seven Adams and I'll be content.

I voted no, but not because I don't think Noel is worth $20m. I think we'll be chasing true supermax guys-- RWB, Griffin, CP3-- or at worst a guy like Hayward. Doesn't make sense to go after Noel, especially since there's a 75% chance that Philly just matches and we come up empty-handed.

I don't think he is that good a player. But if he is the only guy we can get.  Depends on what is available in 2018 I guess but I probably would.

This season will provide the answer.

Nice potential, but let's see what he brings in a contract year after a few years under his belt.

Nope.

In today's NBA, with the money being thrown around, I'd say yes. By that I'm not saying we should go for it, but I do think it's his worth.

With a player like Horford who is an allround offensive big, I think we can handle the fact that his one on one offense is bad. He can rebound (a need), block shots (a need), run, defend multiple types of players, can switch on defense, grabs a lot of steals for his position, has great hands and can finish above the rim.

He would be a perfect fit right now.

I voted no because hell no wasn't an option, nor was going to Boston to kick Danny in the nards if he paid Noel $20 mil/yr.
