Lots of IT feeding Green for dunks in Phoenix. Wonder what IT's input was on signing Green.

Nice, obviously highlight material doesn't tell the whole story but he definitely looks bigger and more assertive than whence last he donned the green.

He had a great season there.  I thought he was on the verge of finally being a legitimate starter.  Was it a fluke?  System-related?  Surrounding talent?  He's had a couple weaker seasons since then.

sorry, but one of those videos show a dunk against the celtics. i cannot endorse this thread.  ;)

i think it is an artifact of who green is as a basketball player. he has some skills, not many smarts, and a number of holes in his game. i think he is a starter on a bad team, a decent bench player on a good team....which is what ainge is banking on i think.

I would assume it's system related. Iirc, the Suns played loose and wanted to run a high powered offense. I mean, didn't Dragic have a career year as well?

Green's current game seems to thrive on fast paced games (fwiw, I think he'd be great in GSW), which is why I think he'll do well here. I don't think he would've done well with the slower, grinder, KG/PP C's team.

I hope he calms down a bit on the celebrations in what I assume were meaningless games, but otherwise this is cause for some mild excitement.

Looks good...hoping for the double digits scoring punch off the bench.
