Well at least we can all breathe a sigh of relief - Danny will not be signing JR Smith for 13 million

Like it. Shooting and a vet voice for Young hopefully. Also Brown can easily play SG or SF. Time to get that Center.

Rozier, Hunter, KO and Grizz+Clippers 1st for Okafor.

IT/Smart/Jackson
AB/Brown/Young
Crowder/Green/JJ
Hordford/Mickey/Bentil
Okafor/AJ/Zeller

Good signing. Solid shooter, not signed for long term.

Great signing if you ask me.
I was wondering who would fill out the scoring role that Evan Turner provided on certain nights. Guess Green will be the man from here on out ;D

Well, one thing we know is that he'll need a new number.

This is why the C's haven't given out #5 in years!  We've been waiting for this return.

Seriously, I wonder if they'd let him wear #5 if he wanted it.  He did wear it before KG.

It will be interesting to see whether this move will impact James Young's spot on this team. Sure it's only a 1 year deal, but we have too many PG's and SG's on this team now.

Great signing. If Stevens can do with Gerald what he did with ET, this is a home run.

I always remember a story Danny gave the papers about driving Gerald to the airport --he was being sent down to the D-league for experience, not sure where--before Portland, anyhow Danny said he was upset because when he picked Gerald up he had 2 bags, one completely full of shoes-- but he had not brought the weighted practice ball the Celtics gave him.  Danny said Gerald was very young acting when he was here before.

It is amazing to me that Gerald Green is 30 years old and that he's been gone for almost 10 years.  Man does time fly.

Well he came out of hs

And for like the first 4 years he has hanging on for dear life to stay in the nba. He is a solid pro now. Still plenty athletic with a reliable jump shot

Yeah, I feel the same way!

Let's finish our pre-KG era Celtic reclamation projects by signing Greg Oden and calling it an offseason  :D
