Cool! I've always wanted to see him back in Green. Wonder where the opportunities to play will come from, and maybe it signals a potential trade in the works.

Is he going to take minutes from Brown?

If so I hate it.  Hopefully another move is on the horizon.

No way in heck he takes minutes from Brown ( unless gg turns into a defensive beast.
He's here as a deep bench shooting specialist.

He may push young, bentil and Jackson off the bench ( hopefully saving room for Nader).

Gerald Green didn't sign here on the off chance that he may get garbage minutes in blowouts. He was a very good sparkplug off for Miami last year and Wade loved him (at least at the start of the year). Brown will certainly see his minutes limited. They are both SFs and even if you wanted to put one of them at guard, you really can't unless Rozier is not in the Cs plans.

In a vacuum I like it but I do worry about it messing with other players minutes.

Hopefully Brown can get minutes at PF too.

Kind of interesting signing. DA said he needs to address shooting and the center spot. I think the center spot is more important than shooting right now. Which is kinda weird they use cap space for a SG/SF.

With Crowder rumored to be involved in the Griffin trade, or just trades to begin with, makes you wonder if a trade for a big is in the works and Green is the SF band aid until Brown catches up.

It's probably nothing, but it's fun to speculate. And to go completely down the rabbit hole, I wouldn't be surprised if Cousins isn't the actual target where LA gets Gay,AB and picks, Sac gets Crowder, and Griffin for their new stadium, Boston gets Cousins.

It/Rozier
Smart/Hunter
Green/Brown
Horford/KO
Cousins/Amir

Ah, I think the summer off season is getting to me. LOL

Cheap guys who provide offense don't provide a lot of defense. Life is a compromise, Danny. You need a mix.

I saw a report yesterday that Sacramento won't entertain a DMC trade. Boston and Cleveland have called.

I feel like every time we draft a talented young player we trade for or sign a veteran player at the same position that ends up with more minutes and blocking their development.

Maybe he'll tell some nice tales to the young guys what happens when you don't work hard, and end up playing in Russia. :P
