Like it. Shooting and a vet voice for Young hopefully. Also Brown can easily play SG or SF. Time to get that Center.

Rozier, Hunter, KO and Grizz+Clippers 1st for Okafor.

You're not getting Okafor for three backups and two picks in the 20s.

It is amazing to me that Gerald Green is 30 years old and that he's been gone for almost 10 years.  Man does time fly.

Well he came out of hs

And for like the first 4 years he has hanging on for dear life to stay in the nba. He is a solid pro now. Still plenty athletic with a reliable jump shot
has he defense gotten any better. actually, i always imagined young would be like green...at his peak.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

They are different in that Young can only dream of having Green's hops.   Other than that a little similar.

Don't know if it's been said, but it's kind of fun to see old pieces of KG and Allen trades coming back.

We've had jeff green, gerald green, and now we just need Big Al and telfair. Who else did we send out?
I trust Danny Ainge

I actually love this move. 1 year deal for a spark plug off the bench and old favorite of mine. Instant second unit offense is exactly what we needed.

Okafor will be a backup sooner rather than later

May not be getting him at all period. That is what I'd offer is all. If 76ers want more look elsewhere for a Center.

Wally Szczerbiak and Theo Ratliff are not walking through that door.

Crazy that Green isn't offered more than the minimum :o
I wonder whether this incident played any role in keeping that number down?

Seems to me he's worth more than vet minimum.  Did anything ever come of that incident?  I wasn't watching the Heat carefully but I assume he lost minutes to Winslow as the season moved along.

Yeah, it is.
Career:  8.9 ppg on 20 minutes  2.4 Rebounds.

When he plays more, he scores more.
28 minutes per game   15.8 points per game.

His problem has always been buying into the defensive end of the court. I believe that Green is worth more to Boston than Zeller.    Athletic Wing who can shoot and score.  All for Vet
minimum.

Suddenly, this is an extremely athletic team.

I do think this deal is a great opportunity for him - a la Turner.  There's a rotation slot open for him to step into and he's got skills that are going to fit with this team.
