This might seem nuts to some on you, and that's fine, lol ;D, but when you really break it down, I believe that Portis would be a much better fit here in terms of attitude, fire, a willingness to actually play defense, passing, rebounding, probably speed, and shooting, especially, whether it's from the post, midrange, or 3.  Just curious to see what everyone else thinks, and why :).

I'd take Clinton Portis over Okafor

Does it really matter if I prefer Portis? He's not available. I'd prefer LeBron over Okafor too.

I voted for Portis for some reason, but then I went and looked at his stats. -3.3 BPM. So yeah, I'll take the guy who was picked 3rd and had a better rookie season.

Oh, I totally agree. I would much prefer Portis to Okafor, and I think he'd be a very, very good for next to Horford. I love the kid; he's big, physical, and a perfect fit for the character of our team.

Ainge certainly didn't prefer Portis last year.

Portis is that guy that you love to have on your team and can give you a little bit of everything, but Okafor still has star potential and is a much better 'asset' - really no contest here.

Okafor by far. Portis is nothing. If you wanted a Portis, or better yet, someone better than Portis, you could've paid Hump

Are you talking about Kris Humphries?

You sir are entitled to your opinion, though my eyes tell me that Bobby Portis has serious potential. Seems to play hard.

Okafor is probably the more talented, and that's why he was picked #3 overall while Portis went #22. Not a lot has changed.

While Portis would look good in green, I'm happy we have Rozier.

You would rather have Jahlil next to Horford right now than Portis? I'm not so sure. I think Portis is a very good fit next to Horford, and Okafor is not. Okafor has the higher ceiling, but the question is who would you rather have right now with our current team. I think that answer is Portis.

May I ask why?  I suppose that I should have added that, unlike Okafor, Portis doesn't have knee problems when I was making my case, lol ;D. Oopsy.

Agreed, love Portis. He needs to improve his defensive awareness and 3 pt shooting from last season. But if he gets better, I'd say he can be an above average starter for many years.
