With the departure of Evan Turner I think he will get a nice hearty role in his rookie year... Can already rely on hid defense, athleticism, hustle, and ability to get to the line... In a way many of the things Smart was able to do his first year (except FT).. I expect a bit more but here are some numbers:

8-10ppg
16-22 min
5 rpg
2 apg
1.5 stpg
.5 bpg
38%fgp
70%ftp
I'm optimistic he'll play around 22 mpg and average at least 40% from the floor.

1.5 spg isn't totally crazy because he won't be playing starter minutes so he'll be a little more energetic and willing to gamble more than he would. I can't wait to see how many turnovers a lineup of Smart, Bradley, Brown, Crowder, and Horford is going to create.

Well I hope he's a fast learner and does a lot better than I expect, but I expect he's going to get something like 15-20 minutes per game and average like 7 points with 35% shooting.

I was impressed with Jaylen's progress in the summer league, his confidence and choices improved nearly every game.   I also believe that with the spacing being spread better in the NBA he will for the most part flourish, I am sure there will be some stinkers also. I think he will share the 3 with Crowder with Jae getting the greater of the minutes but on given nights Jaylen will earn 20+ minutes.  On a given night match-ups and Defense will decide who Brad has on the floor, but Brown I think will be in the regular rotation.  Besides Crowder Who else can play the 3?

In a small-ball lineup, Crowder will be the 4 and they can play together.

I hope he gets it tough from the refs for a few games when it comes to drawing fouls he needs to learn to go up trying to finish and not get fouled

He will have his ups and downs. Probably at 6ppg 3reb or along those lines the first couple of months then as the season progresses he wil slowly but surely improve and will have Stevens full confidence by March with his stats peaking around 12ppg in april. For the season I can easily see him ave 10.8 ppg 4 reb 0.8asst .I want his FT% to improve significantly because he will be patrolling the free throw line alot.

Based on what we saw during the summer league (I know, I know) - that high, lol ;D?  Ugh.  Please make me eat my words, Jaylen Brown.  Please, haha ;D.

I actually looked at Smart's rookie stats to come up with these numbers. I just sorta went with the part where he'd play less than Smart did and that he is younger and just projected.

The team has struggled because they only had Thomas and Turner consistently called on to break down the defense. Whether he struggles or not, Brown will attack. There are other guys who can take those minutes, particularly Jerebko, but if the team stays as it is now, I bet Stevens gives him 15-20 minutes and asks him to be an attacking type of player right away. I expect he cracks 10 ppg.

I expect him to be better than Simmons and very Ingram. Dunn will crush him though.

Simmons is pretty nasty.
