Good Lord. You would think that you would've learned by now to not be so flip-floppy with your assessments of players, especially rookies. 

Learn what?  Where?  Are we in freakin school? I gave the kid props yesterday and today he turns around and lays another egg.  CB goes nuts because the kid made a freakin layup!  He's been garbage the entire summer league. When he's consistent like the 15 other players picked after him then I'll change my tune.  His poor play for as much hype that he got is inexcusable!

Did anyone notice Danny being noncommittal on what Horford's position will be? He basically said it will depend upon how we fill out the rest of the roster. You have to think that he's targeting another big in a trade, whoever that might be.

Also, why the hell is Thornton out there??

My theory is that Danny's focused on the Philly bigs. Bulpett's report specifically mentioned that we hadn't talked to LAC or OKC, but there was no mention of Philly. Couple that with Colangelo's recent comments, and you might have something.

I agree for the most part. Bulpett didn't say anything about the Philly bigs OR Cousins, so I would certainly think that he's still preferring one of those options to Griffin or Westbrook, who both come with baggage regarding their contracts next summer.

I think he's still trying hard for Cousins, because I would assume that an Okafor or Noel deal would've already been done if that was his primary target, especially if the price has dropped even more since the draft.

He's 19. He's still finding his game, finding how the NBA is (somewhat). And you're ready to write him off in the summer league before he's even played his first regular game? What is wrong with you?
