Why Clippers do the trade:  They have holes, especially lacking a starting calibre SF.  Deandre Jordan should not have much issues doing more legwork up front.  Rozier is a nice backup pg with starting potential down the road.   2017 Nets pick could be big

Brown would be our only SF? We had that problem last year when we only had Jae Crowder. If we're giving up a big piece like Crowder it should be at a position where we can actually afford it such as PG/SG. Keep Rozier and Crowder, give them Smart.

Griffin is one of the top pfs in the league.

Haha.. People on this board complain if there are no fireworks, but also don't want someone like Griffin.  He would fit well with this team as he can shoot the midrange well and is a pretty good passer.  I wouldn't be surprised if he gets his range out to the 3 point line soon.  I sorta have mixed opinions, however, as the 2017 draft class is so stacked, but would still pull the trigger if it meant boogie or blake coming back.

absolutely not.  Guy is coming off 3 major injuries in a single year.  Plus being a moron.  I'm all for acquiring him if it's a swap or a player or two under the right circumstances, but no way can you give up that Nets pick next year
