Okay, I am ready for the Okafor/Griffin era. Since we would need to add Amir to any Griffin deal, we will need a replacement center - I would love to have him training behind Horford and Griffin.

I agree with this ranking. Simmons is legit but they'll need legit shooters next to him until he gets a more respectable jumper. Saric is supposed to be a good shooter and Embiid has supposedly been working on his range.

I can't imagine that Embiid is their favorite center-like object.  I don't think he's played in more than 75 competitive basketball games in his life, and none in 30 months.  He's their most intriguing, and the one who's least likely to be traded just because his value is so low, but I'd bet Noel is tops of the three.

So one of them HAS to be gone before the season, right? And if Embiid shows promise, then both Okafor and Noel are gone by the deadline.

I'd gauge Sacramento on their view of Okafor as a younger, contract-controlled replacement to Boogie.

I think for the time being, they can just have Simmons control the ball as a point guard, Saric play SF, and have a 3 man big rotation of Noel, Okafor and Embiid.  Have someone like Bayless play as the other guard.   It's not going to win a ton of games, but that doesn't matter yet.
