Larry Sanders is working out in California. Several teams have shown interest in him and he remains open to the idea of an NBA comeback.

Should the Celtics be interested?  He seems like potentially a solid candidate for a 1+1, prove-that-you're-serious deal.  Ainge did say he wants a "stronger center".  Could be a high-reward signing.

TP Saltlover - this is almost too good to be true. He is exactly the kind-of player (center) we are looking for. I would love him on a 1+1 deal.

Ha, ha...I love the video clip. Tp

And yes, they should bring him in and talk. If he has his head into basketball now, then. Sign him if possible.  He is not a CBS type of center, but his defense is great enough that CBS could find ways of using him effectively..

Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Count me in,  Larry Sanders plays D like KG at the 5. We have such a strong locker room and culture we could afford to add Larry.

The chance that he could regain his mojo and return to 10 points, 10 rebounds, 3 blocks, and a steal on a bargain contract is so worth the probability that he will crap out.

Yeah this is absolutely a good case to roll the dice on if the price is right.  It's not like the team would be afraid to cut ties with him if he started being a detriment to the team.

He's open to an idea!   Wow.  He has been saying that he has been working out and playing recreationally since he quit, hasn't he?  And he's always said that maybe he'd come back some day.

yeah, but i don't think it would take an bargain contract to get him, im thinking 1+1 20 mil...?
i really liked the kid, but this is a bit of a chemistry and financially risky move.

His first contract is going to have to be small until he proves something I think.

I wouldn't worry about that much. See the Keith Bogans fiasco.
