Bulls are apparently very eager to sign Wade, and need to move salary. I'd be happy to take Dunleavy off their hands for a 2nd round pick.

If there are no other moves out there it would be a decent pick up. Provides some shooting off the bench and is pretty cheap money around 5mil on an expiring contract. I don't think it would cost us anything btw.

Rather have Gibson instead. Cheap contract with nothing to lose.

Dunleavy's 2nd year non-guaranteed could be useful.

That said, Dunleavy also makes more sense to us given our cap situation. Grabbing Gibson could complicate it and force us to lose more assets than we might be interested in because he's $4M more expensive.

Does Gibson for James Young work cap-wise?

That -- and shooting at the 3. I'm much more comfortable have Crowder be a 'shooter' at the 4 than the 3 in crunch time.

Sure, it's always at the cost of which Bird Rights you want to retain (assuming you can keep them all, which we probably won't be able to regardless, crowded roster currently).

If you're talking about either Zeller or Sully, I'd be willing to let either of them walk.

Personally, if the option exists, I prefer giving either of them a big one year contract. If that's not an option, I have no problem jumping ship to Gibson.

I believe it's Dunleavy the Cs are considering at this time.

The question is if we get Dunleavy, do we get him with our cap space or we trade Jerebko for him? Decision, decisions.

If that came to be, who do you guys prefer?

Why?  What does he offer us?

This is my problem with signing a guy like him. He's the type of guy you bring in once your ready to go all in.

Depth on sf, good heady vet who does everything well and isn't going to hurt you too bad in his weaker areas.
Cheap.  Pretty much a semi replacement for turner
