Tl;dr smart, crowder, Johnson, 2017 first

Yeah, right. Real fair for a year of Westbrook. Even they admit that he's gone next year.

Look, I realize that they have to get in a certain number of words each day to keep their jobs. Why can't they be intelligent ones?

Westbrook can be fun to watch, but I'm not sure he's some one you roll the dice on. KD left in some parts because of him, what does that say.

IT and Westbrook don't work together, so IT would be gone, and over the short 1.5 years he's been here, he's been the best ambassador for the C's and talking to other players. I'm not sure DA would move him, at least not right now, not for a rental and blot player.

Fascinating how people have forgotten how much more effective IT was off the basketball.
Coined the CelticsBlog term, "Euromistake."

I would wait until the offseason and just take my chances to recruit him in FA. I don't think it makes sense to trade for him without the guarantee of an extension. I also think he looks for the best situation and not the money either.

I would do a Smart, Jerebko, Johnson, 2017 first and Memphis pick for Westbrook under the contingency that Westbrook extends his contract first. No extension, no trade. I am not giving up a boatload of assets for a one year rental of Westbrook

for a year of Westbrook, a gross overpay for both the C's and Sac and a major underpay by the Lakers.

I would think IT would be part of the framework of any deal for Westbrook.

If I'm OKC, I trade Westbrook in the next month or so. His value will continue to decrease with every passing day once training camp starts. And he's not staying there following this year.

overpay for all 3 in my opinion. LA is essentially sending out all 3 of their top prospects for a year rental of Westbrook.

LA getting Adams and a future 1st (since they've traded so many away) is very generous compared to the other two.

What did you think he was going to cost? RJ Hunter and a second rounder?  ::) ::) ::)
