OKC can trace this outcome back to the Harden trade.  Fatal error.

Now they will probably lose Westbrook and they're back to being just another collection of mere mortals.  How quickly things fall apart.

ACTUALLY the lesson is do not pay your stars.

If GSW has paid Curry, Green, and Thompson what they are worth there is no way they get Durant.

The lesson of the current NBA is manage your salaries, otherwise you must find a way to circumvent the cap. This more so now that it is coming out that part of the Warriors pitch was their ownerships other business interests in Silicon Valley and Hollywood.
