Great passer, perfect fit in Stevens' system. Big upgrade.

Price should be quite low, now that Golden State has to fire-sale him.

Only issue is health.

It would allow Horford to play PF so it benefits in that way too.

Yup. He fits nicely with Horford.

Probably only take a draft pick or two to land him, given the nature of the fire sale. Championship-experienced player.

And then you probably see what it would take to get Westbrook.

Bogut would be a fine backup.

I wouldn't start him and Horford together. Too slow on defense and would get in each other's way on offense. Both guys like to play off the elbow and are at their best when used to facilitate the rest of the offense from there.

An Amir Johnson (non-guaranteed contract) for Bogut trade makes sense.

Not worried at all about Horford's speed.

And you would have to send them Amir - who they would have to waive immediately.

I'd like Bogut. Would keep the cap space open for next year. Would you choose him over Iggy if they were clearing space?

I can see Warriors sending him to C's for JJ and a second rounder. Nice ten man rotation.

IT/Rozier
AB/Smart
Crowder/Brown
Hordford/AJ
Bogut/KO

Everybody should block a Bogut trade. That way the Warriors won't be able to sign KD.

I'd rather ship out James Young to a team, who sends GSW a second-round pick, who sends us Bogut, enabling us to keep Amir.

Yes please.

Andrew Bogut is still a great rim protector, and a great teammate.

Also an expiring $11 million, very friendly contract.

Get him.

I'm sure the Nets would gladly take Bogut for free and keep Durant out west for the rest of his career.

I don't know what either makes. Could we pursue both of them?

Depends on how Horford feels about playing inside.

But ... I want to add some of that title experience.

I think they'll be fine. I think Horford and Bogut can play a lot of in and out together. And opponents will have a tough time getting into the paint with those two.

It's the prisoner's dilema.  Everyone's better off if no one helps GSW, but if you don't trust every single other GM then you put yourself in the better position by taking him
I'm bitter.
