Absolutely. He's significantly better than Horford. If Atlanta trades him to keep Horford, they are insane.

He only has one year left on his contract. And I'm not helping Atlanta. No way. Let him come here in free agency for nothing in a year if we want him so bad.

Let Atlanta tell either Milsap, Horford, or Howard "You're a backup now."  See how that goes

If we get Durant, yes. If we don't, then no.

No interest in giving assets on a one-year deal.

They won't give us Millsap. I imagine that they probably would prefer to send him to the Western Conference. They won't help a team that they most likely will meet in the Playoffs.

I want him but Im not giving up a real asset for him and Altantas probably not moving him unless they get a real asset in return.

I consider Smart Brown Crowder Thomas Bradley and brooklyn '17 to be our real assets.

They better keep him.

He is the main reason they aren't a lottery team.

We well stomp them silly without Teague and Milsap

For the right price.

Not worth giving up major long term assets. Keep the powder dry.

I say this even though Millsap is one of my favorite players. The Celts aren't doing anything with him as their best player.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

Depends what they trade him for.

They can lose Horford for nothing, or keep Horford and get some assets in a Milsap trade. The latter may be a better plan.

Sure they would. If that is where they get value.

People exaggerate the significance of trading to competitors. They aren't going to eliminate half the league when trying to get good assets for a player.
