Heinsohn is actually right saying Horford is not a great player. He's a very good one.  Still a bit awkward but that is just Heinsohn being Heinsohn trying to cool peoples jets and keep the competitive juices focused while the celtics are playing the hawks in the playoffs.. He's actually right how he meant it. I don't think Heinsohn ever said he wouldn't want Horford. I bet he agrees in this case it's the right move. Plus  if we are getting Durant.

Tanguay is just annoying.

Aside from the usual suspects in the NBA press (Woj, Stein, Lowe etc.), every "breaking news" tweet means precisely nothing.

Horford is perfect for a Durant team. I think this is what Ainge and Stevens will pitch to Kevin. Here the team is 'his team' capable of winning championships in the short term and long term and I can't see him having that any where else.

Tanguay is worse.  Felger and Mazz wouldn't cover basketball if they had the choice.  Tanguay did the gdmn postgames for CSNE.  He should at least know a thing or two.

I struggle to find what guys like Tanguay or Felger or guys like that even offer.  Felger actually has some good things to say somethings I think.    I enjoy listening to Heinsohn.  He's a yeller himself but has a lot to actually say of value.  Guys like Draper I might as well be listening to absolutely no one.  I give bums on the street a lot more creedence.

That is true, Tanguay can be prone to meltdowns too. I have noticed Dickerson is turning into a Tanguay light.

What about  Bob?  lol.  He fits the profile of a Bob.

If we land one of the big time free agents here in Horford.  Put in a good word with Durant and go into the secondary free agents and resign a couple of our guys and get a wing that can shoot like Dudley to hold us over, it's a successful offseason.

We might shock the world and land Durant this offseason. The trade OKC made is odd in ways. It's either to keep Durant for one more year, or to prepare for the future of losing him.
